A couple of photos from PCS

As UK readers will know, the Property Computer Show is the big event of the year for real estate technology companies. This week we returned to the show at the same stand as last year, and again it was a pretty hectic couple of days. At PCS 2005 we launched 3D Walkthroughs as an additional service, and this year the main news was the addition of 3D Floor Plans to the mix, as highlighted on this blog.

There was just time to take a couple of quick snaps as the show was opening on Tuesday -- below you can see Brian and Danielle hard at work explaining all about Metropix:

We're looking forward to next year already, in fact we already have a good idea about what ground-breaking new products we'll be launching at 2007's show... it's going to be a very busy year!

NEW! Watermarked floor plans

Another new feature launched today is watermarked floor plans:

It's a great way to apply your branding to all your plans, and there are a number of options allowing you to customise the exact appearance. To set this up, just go to Your Account, Change Preferences and select the Add Watermark category. You'll be asked to upload your logo -- for the best results, choose a nice, high resolution file.

NEW! 3D Floor Plans

We're delighted to be launching a major new product today: 3D Floor Plans.

Our 3D Floor Plans are built from the same technology as our 3D Walkthroughs, and so the quality and detailing of the plans are far ahead of the 3D plans currently available in the market. And with a launch price of just four pounds (five US dollars), we believe they're excellent value for money too.

To order, look for the "Order 3D" button after drawing your 2D floor plan as normal. You're then offered a choice between a 3D Walkthrough and a 3D Floor Plan.

NEW! Extra floor plan symbols

Today we've added many of the the most popularly requested symbols, including sinks with drainers, one-and-a-half bowl sinks, fireplaces, a different hob (cooktop), bidet, boiler and more.

If there's a symbol that would be useful to you, just let us know. The best way to do it is to fax or email us a sketch of the symbol you need and we'll take it from there.
